Meeting Minutes for Trello
Header and footer
All settings in the header and footer section are
saved automatically when the document is created and are available unchanged the next time the tool is called up.
If settings are changed without creating the document, these settings will not be saved.
1. Use custom header title
A custom title can be defined in this area to be displayed in the header of the document. The predefined title is Minutes of meeting.
What to do?
- Activate the Use custom header title check box
- Enter a title in the text box
- Click Create document (this will save your settings)
Notes
- If you turn off this option, the default title will be applied, but the last one used (you entered) is preserved and will be suggested next time the option is activated
- If the entered text is longer than the predefined placeholder (approx. 20 to 25 characters), the title wraps automatically
- If the Use custom header title check box is active, the text box must not remain empty (marked red)
- If settings are changed without subsequently creating the document, these settings will not be saved
2. Use custom header logo
This option allows to add a custom logo (image) which will be placed in the header (top right of the document). There are two choices:
- Provide the address of the image as a URL (public link)
- Paste an image from the clipboard (e.g. screen clipping)
What to do to use a logo via URL? (option 1)
- Tick the Use custom header logo check box
- If not preselected: Select the option Logo URL
- Paste the link to the image into the associated text box, e.g. https://consulity.de/Assets/images/mm/trello%20listing/icon6_s.png
- If access to the image was successful, a preview of the image will be displayed in the corresponding image placeholder. If no preview is displayed, the image is invalid or cannot be reached without authentication
- If the Use custom header logo checkbox is active and option 1 (Image URL) is selected, the text box must not remain empty (marked red)
- Click Create document (this will save your settings)
What to do to paste a logo from the clipboard? (option 2)
- Check the Use custom header logo check box
- If not preselected: Select the option Logo from clipboard
- Click the image placeholder and press CTRL+V (paste)
- If the image could be successfully inserted, a preview of the image is displayed in the corresponding image placeholders
- Confirm the use of the image displayed with the green check box symbol or click on the red X symbol clear the preview and repeat the process
- If the image was saved successfully, option 1 is automatically selected with the a new image URL applied, and a preview of the image is displayed in the image placeholder
- The image should not significantly exceed the maximum width of 200 pixels and the maximum height of 50 pixels, as this can lead to loss of quality when resizing
- Click Create document (this will save your settings)
Notes
- If option 2 (Logo from clipboard) was selected, this image will be automatically saved and displayed as option 1 (URL) the next time you use it
- If an image URL is used (option 1), ensure that this web resource is public without further authentication is available
- If settings are made without subsequently creating the document, these settings will not be saved
3. Use custom page footer
In this area, user-defined settings for the document footer can be made, e.g. to show page numbers only and in the middle footer of the document.
By default, the tool shows the username on the left and the page numbers on the right.
The footer is divided into three sections: Left footer, Center footer, Right footer and there are three options (besides blank):
- Username: This will add the creator's username (Trello username)
- Page number: Display the page number in the style n of m
- Custom text: Static text (any input)
What to do?
- Tick the Use custom page footer check box
- Select an entry from the selection list for the desired area, e.g. Middle footer: Page number
- If nothing is to be displayed in an area, please select <blank>, if a user-defined text should be displayed, please select Custom text whereupon another input field appears. Enter the desired text there, e.g. Department: 08-15a
- Click Create document (this will save your settings)
Notes
- If Custom text is selected, the associated text box must not remain empty (marked in red)
- If settings are made without subsequently creating the document, these settings will not be saved
